Labor Day Fun

This afternoon we had some new friends (who have quickly become good friends) over for Labor Day, and we had a blast. :) Swimming, playing hard, yummy dinner, and a build-your-own-sundae kind of dessert.

Doesn't get much better than that, huh?

It is so easy and fun to be together...the kids play GREAT, watch out for each other, and don't want to leave each other, and we grown ups actually get to have real adult conversations with minimal interruptions. Happiness for all, right? I think so. :)
These two (who are just about 6 months apart) have quickly become good buddies.
Isn't it funny how something like crawling into bed together to watch a movie is so cute when they're 2 and 3, but will be so NOT cute when they are 12 and 13? Interesting. :)
